A child inspects Rocky, a 40-inch-long, 27-pound lobster that was landed off the coast of Maine by shrimp fisherman Robert Malone. The giant crustacean was given a temporary home at Maine State Aquarium in West Boothbay Harbor before being released back into the Atlantic Ocean. Staff dubbed the lobster Rocky as it was caught in the Rockland coastal area, although Aquarium Director Aimee Hayden-Rodriques said the name could have been because its claws would pack a punch. The largest lobster in the Guinness Book of Records weighed 44lb and was caught in waters off Nova Scotia. Normal dinner table lobsters are usually between one and two pounds.
